In the coming months, all companies will be able to send promotional messages to Facebook Messenger. At the moment, only some site partners can use the option.
How the option works
Unlike advertising, sponsored messages will not be marked as promotional messages. The appearance of this format of promotional content will not differ from standard conversations.
According to the rules of the social network, the sponsored messages can be sent once a day and only to those people who previously interacted with the chat company of the company in the messenger.
If advertisers want to use this option, they will have to create a user audience from those people who clicked on the CTA-buttons offered by the chat-bot or recently communicated with it.
